Frequently Asked Questions
-
Maple & Moon Cat Rescue is a foster-based nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats in need. Every cat deserves a safe place to land, and we work to provide individualized care until they're ready for their forever home.
-
We do not operate a shelter. Instead, our cats live in loving foster homes where they receive daily care, socialization, and attention. This allows us to learn each cat's personality and match them with the best possible family.
-
Our cats are cared for in foster homes throughout our service area. Meet-and-greets are arranged after an adoption application has been reviewed and approved.
-
Complete an adoption application through our website or social media. We'll review your application, contact references if needed, and schedule a meet-and-greet if we think the cat is a good match.
-

-
We do our best to help whenever space and foster availability allow. Please contact us to discuss your situation. Because we are foster-based, we cannot guarantee immediate intake.
